Happy Early 4th in July!

Hey! When I was little I called 4th of July the 4th in July! I also called a granola bar a tookie! I thought it was a cookie, but I couldn't say that! Anyway, in Austin, there is a huge drought, so we can't use fireworks. UGH! My family usually sits on our back deck to watch two separate firework displays! It's so awesome! Here's where we sit

So this the spot we stare at for hours on end.

Did I mention we can't use fireworks? Yes, I did, but it's so devastating that I had to say it twice for it to sink in. So we have to use fireworks somewhere else. The solution: my grandparents ranch! It's only about 3ish 2ish hours away, and we're driving up there on Friday! It's in a tiny town called Lipan, and it even has a town square! I can't wait! I'll make sure to take lots of pics, and maybe try to review something. There aren't any snow cone stands in Lipan, but I could find something blog-worthy! We're gonna eat bar-b-que and pancakes, and hang out with horses! The most important thing: We're using fireworks if all goes well!!! I'm kidding! I get to see my grandparents! I haven't seen them in forever! Can y'all tell that I'm unbelievably excited?

Can y'all use fireworks? Should I review a non-snow-cone-y dessert? Will ice cream work?  Does anyone else have a town square? Fun fact: Abraham Lincon's killer, John Wilkes Booth, fled to Lipan and opened a barber shop! He confessed on his deathbed! I think the gun is still there! It might be a museum now. I'm not sure!
